Aimee and Nathan’s day was a beautiful blend of love and genuine joy amongst their favorite people. We started the day with Aimee getting ready in her home, surrounded by her closest loved ones. I photographed Aimee’s final touches, her dress, and her details, which all came together effortlessly and beautifully. Once they were dressed and ready, Aimee and Nathan shared their first look and it was an emotional moment. They held each other for a while, letting the nerves fade and soaking in the fact that their wedding day was finally here. First looks always give space for couples to breathe, and theirs was no exception.

After the first look, we headed to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where their ceremony took place. The church was filled with family and tradition. Their ceremony was beautiful and reverent a time of their day that truly honored the covenant they were making. They exchanged vows and received the Sacrament of Marriage. Their families celebrated alongside them, making it so clear how loved these two are.

After the ceremony, everyone made their way to Bel Cielo Historic Farm, a stunning venue with so much beauty and character. It’s full of space and a beautiful olive orchard, an intimate space away from the main reception area, where I captured their portraits. After time in the olive orchard and as the sun was setting, we walked back towards the reception through the low field as I captured candid moments between Aimee and Nathan.

Their reception at Bel Cielo was full of laughter and heartfelt toasts and moments. Their family and friends brought the party and didn’t leave the dance floor. Their night was everything you hope a wedding reception will be: fun and intentional.

I had the joy of getting to know Aimee and Nathan, and even captured the wedding of some of their closest friends the week prior. I captured their engagement photos and truly got to know them in a personal way.
