There’s something really special about an intimate wedding day. There’s extra room to slow down and take in what’s happening. That’s exactly how Dania and Michael’s day at Bel Cielo felt.
Bel Cielo was such a beautiful setting for their day. The property has a quiet and peaceful feel, with beautiful views and spaces that make you want to stay a while. It was the perfect backdrop for a day that was simply about celebrating their marriage with the people closest to them.
From the beginning of the day, everything felt calm. Dania and Michael had time to be present with the people who had come to celebrate them. I loved being able to photograph those quieter pieces of the day—the small interactions, the laughter, and the moments that probably would have been easy to overlook.
We spent time throughout Bel Cielo’s beautiful olive orchard capturing their portrait and making the most of the beautiful. It was a windy and cloudy day, but their day still turned out to be beautiful. Looking back at their day, I think that’s what stands out to me most. It wasn’t about having the biggest wedding or fitting every tradition into one day. It was about Dania and Michael, the people they love, and creating a day that felt meaningful to them.
If you’ve been considering an intimate wedding, I hope their day reminds you that you don’t need a huge guest list for your wedding to feel full. There is something really beautiful about creating a day that leaves room to slow down, be present, and enjoy the people standing beside you.
Dania and Michael, thank you for letting me be a part of such a meaningful day.
