Montserate Winery is full of charm and natural beauty. With its European-inspired architecture, gardens, and views, this venue has a way of making you feel like you’ve stepped somewhere far away while still being right here in Southern California. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, and the springtime setting made it such a beautiful place to photograph.

This day was such a joy to be part of, from the details and the setting to the people who brought the day to life. One of the special parts of the day was hearing from Marabelle, a live guitarist and musician. Getting to hear more about her music and what she brings to weddings was such a meaningful part of the experience. Live music adds such a beautiful atmosphere to a wedding day, and it was so fun to see how it could become part of the celebration.

The day was filled with beautiful spring details, soft colors, and styling that complemented Montserate’s natural beauty. We moved through the property, capturing the architecture and gardens. There was something so peaceful about the entire setting, and every space offered something a little different to photograph.

What I loved most about this day was how it brought together so many of the things I value in weddings: intentional details, a beautiful setting, meaningful music, and moments that feel genuine. It was a reminder that a wedding day doesn’t have to feel overly complicated to be beautiful.
