Some wedding days feel like being welcomed into a family, and Zoe and Nico’s day was exactly that. There was so much love woven into every part of their wedding. Warmth that comes from being surrounded by the people who have known you, loved you, and helped shape the person you are. At Twin Oaks House & Gardens in San Marcos, Zoe and Nico gathered their favorite people to celebrate the beginning of their marriage, and it was such a beautiful reminder of what a wedding day is really about. Zoe and Nico had their religious ceremony at the beginning of their day, and I had the honor of capturing the second half of their day at Tin Oaks.

There was laughter, happy tears, the sweetest embraces, and those moments that might seem ordinary to someone else but mean everything to the people experiencing them. Family was at the heart of this day, and you could feel it in the way everyone showed up for Zoe and Nico. It was evident that every guest experiencing this day meant so much to Zoe and Nico.

Twin Oaks was such a lovely setting for a day like theirs. With its garden surroundings and timeless charm, it created space for the celebration to feel both intimate and full of life. The beauty was already there in the people, the setting, and the love Nico and Zoe share. One of my favorite things about wedding days like this is getting to witness the relationships that surround a couple as they step into a new season of life. It’s not just about two people getting married. It’s about the families coming together, the friendships that have carried them here, and the people who will continue to walk alongside them long after the last song plays and the flowers have faded.

Zoe and Nico’s wedding was filled with so much heart, and I hope these photographs always bring them back to how it felt to be surrounded by so much love. Not just how everything looked, but the warmth of the embraces, the joy in the room, and the feeling of having all your favorite people in one place to celebrate your marriage.
