Jasmine and Ben’s engagement session at Balboa Park was extra special because it was a sneak peek into their upcoming tea ceremony and banquet, honoring their beautiful cultural traditions. Jasmine wanted to incorporate florals, and Balboa Park’s gardens were perfect.

Their session was about celebrating the love, laughter, and traditions that Jasmine and Ben hold closely, and every detail reflected this. Balboa Park added so much character to the session. The historic architecture with peeking buds and the gardens created a timeless backdrop for their engagement portraits, and sunset light made every floral arrangement pop. It was also my first time shooting in Balboa Park’s new botanical garden, which created such beautiful light. I will definitely be keeping that spot in my repertoire.
